	Bio
	Steven Mills is currently doing his PhD at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Australian Research Centre for Aerospace Automation (ARCAA). As a graduate of Engineering – Aerospace Avionics, from QUT in 2006, he has been exposed to a number of challenging research opportunities, and is especially interested in Image Processing, Machine Vision and Robotics and Automation. Steven commenced work with the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information in 2008 under Project 6.7 “The Ergon Project”. His research focuses on the detection and tracking of power lines from small fixed wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).
