| Lennon Cork is a software engineer with CSIRO's ICT Centre Autonomous Systems Lab (ASL) Aerial Robotics Group. Lennon graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Avionics) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2003 before starting his PhD at QUT in 2004. In late 2006 and part of 2007 he was employed by the Australian Research Center for Aerospace Automation (ARCAA) to manage the 2006 Future of UAS workshop as well as the 2007 Outback Rescue UAV Challenge; whilst continuing his studies part-time. In mid 2007 he visited the Nonlinear Control and Robotics (NCR) group at the University of Florida (ULF) as part ot a research exchange and is currently finalising his research on estimation and fault tolerance for UAS. In July 2008 he will begin a postdoctorate, research scientist position in CSIRO working on the Smart Skies project. | ||
